Young adults between the ages of 18 and 35 from the middle to upper-middle classes in Mexico City. Users can be students or workers looking to improve their well-being, access alternative solutions, or seek guidance.
Our research found that while no app can completely solve mental health issues like depression and anxiety, Sintonía can complement therapy and lifestyle adjustments effectively. One critical question we aimed to address was: How can we define when someone needs professional help without creating false medical expectations?
The project was developed based on extensive research, consultations with psychologists and financial experts, and the creation of mental maps, user personas, moodboards, wireframes, and a business model canvas.
The solution focuses on raising awareness and providing support for well-being through interactive storytelling. The app aims to destigmatize mental health issues among young adults, providing a complement to psychological support through diverse and engaging stories.
We learned that interactive storytelling and diverse approaches to well-being resonate strongly with young adults. User testing and iterative development were crucial in refining the app’s features, ensuring it met the users’ needs effectively.
